Featured Event – Northern Harmony

7.30pm Thursday 7th September 2017 – Kingsdon All Saints Church

Remember the choir from Vermont in USA who sang in All Saints Church, Kingsdon back in April 2016?  Well, they are coming back for a return concert.

First formed in 1993, Northern Harmony has since gained a wide reputation thru concert tours across the US, the UK and western Europe. The ensemble is part of Village Harmony, a Vermont- based world music organization that sponsors domestic & international performance singing camps, workshops and tours.

The sixteen brilliant Northern Harmony singers, led by Larry Gordon, present a thrilling mix of world harmony traditions including South African songs and dances, traditional polyphony from Georgia, Corsica, and the Balkans, American shape-note singing and quartet gospel, and renaissance motets.

Featured Event – Kingsdon Club Outing to Buckfast Abbey (Open to all Kingsdon residents)

Wednesday 20th September – coach departs Kingsdon Village Hall at 10:00am

The cost of this trip, exclusive of any refreshments, is £12.50p per person. (last booking date Friday 15th September)
